Jurisdicciones con Requisitos de Lenguaje en Español
Las tablas siguientes contienen jurisdicciones con requisitos en español, Apéndice a la parte 55-Jurisdicciones cubiertas bajo la Sección 203 y 4 (f) (4) de la Ley de los Derechos al Voto de 1965, según la Enmienda prevista.
Debe ser observado que las jurisdicciones no cubiertas específicamente por las provisiones de ayuda del lenguaje de las secciones 203, 4 (f), o 4 (3), de la Ley de los Derechos al Voto (VRA) todavía prohíben prácticas, estándares o procedimiento que nieguen a minorías de lenguaje el derecho de votar. La sección 2 del VRA protege a los latinos y otros votantes de minoría de lenguaje contra las prácticas discriminatorias que afectan su capacidad de participar en elecciones aunque ellos vivan en las jurisdicciones que no están cubiertas específicamente por las provisiones de la ayuda de lenguaje del VRA.
