Monday is the final day to register to vote in California’s Nov. 2 election.
Californians who have not yet registered and want to cast ballots next month may pick up voter registration forms at elections offices, post offices, city halls, libraries, fire stations and Department of Motor Vehicles offices, officials said. Registration forms must be postmarked no later than Monday, Oct. 18, to be valid.

Prospective voters also can print out a form online at the California secretary of state’s website and mail it to their local county registrar of voters.
Los Angeles County registrar-recorder’s officials estimate that there are about 1.5 million eligible adults in the county who are not registered to vote.
For those who want to register in person, county officials are setting up extended voter registration sites from 8 a.m. to midnight Monday at DMV offices in Bell Gardens, Compton, Lincoln Park, Pasadena, San Pedro and West Covina, as well as at the Glendale, Pomona and West Hollywood city halls and the community organizations El Centro Del Pueblo in Echo Park and NALEO Educational Fund in Pico-Union.
