Visuals/interview opps: Latino voters, American flags, reaction to impact of key races on Latino community

Why: With Latinos poised to play a decisive role in key races nationwide and in Texas, Latino voters and their family members will gather at PlazAmericas on Election Night to watch the returns. The event will be an opportunity to speak with Latino voters about concerns with jobs, health care and education for their families, as well as about the impact of anti-immigration sentiment on their voting behavior.

Who: Sponsored by Mi Familia Vota, Houston Votes, TOP, National Association of Latino Elected & Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund, and DemocraciaUSA, leading civic participation organizations which together reached out to thousands of infrequent Latino voters to urge them to vote in the midterm elections.
